1win and BASED Esports will host two CS2 LAN tournaments in Serbia

Tournament organizer BASED Esports has announced a partnership with 1win to host a series of Counter-Strike 2 LAN tournaments. As part of this collaboration, two major championships are planned under the umbrella title 1win VRS Club. Both tournaments will take place in Serbia’s capital, Belgrade.
The main part of the competition is divided into two separate stages, each with an identical prize pool. The first tournament, 1win VRS Club #1, is scheduled for September 25–28. The second championship in the series, 1win VRS Club #2, will take place a little later—from October 19 to 22. The total prize pool for both events will be $200,000, with $100,000 allocated to each stage.
Online qualifiers will be a key part of the qualification process. Open qualifiers for the first tournament will begin on September 5. Immediately after they conclude, from September 7 to 10, the organizers will hold a closed qualifying stage, the results of which will determine the final participants for the LAN event in Belgrade. Detailed information about the rules and registration is available on the organizers’ official website.
Each tournament in the 1win VRS Club series includes open qualifiers (September 5, FACEIT), closed qualifiers (September 7–10, 16 teams), and a LAN final for the top 8 teams, with 6 direct invites to the final stage and 14 to the initial stage of the events allocated based on the VRS ranking.
