9z Team has been eliminated from BLAST Open Porto 2026
9z Team lost to Team Vitality during the group stage of BLAST Open Porto 2026.
On the first map, Dust2, the South American team suffered a crushing 2–13 defeat at the hands of their opponents. On the next map, Nuke, 9z Team also fell short against the “Bees,” losing 6–13.
As a result, 9z Team exited the BLAST Open Porto 2026 in 13th–16th place, while Team Vitality will play in the Group B lower bracket semifinals on Sunday.
The BLAST Open Porto 2026 is taking place from August 26 to September 6 in Porto, Portugal. Sixteen teams are participating in the tournament, only six of which will advance to the playoffs following the group stage. The tournament’s prize pool is $1,100,000.
