Esports player Alister “aliStair” Johnston took to his personal X page to discuss his departure from THUNDERdOWNUNDER and thanked his former teammates for their trust and hard work.
It was a tremendous honor for me to learn, grow, and achieve success with this team. In a short time, we built a team where everyone respects and believes in one another. It’s truly incredible.
Thanks for everything, guys. You deserve all the credit for the work you’ve done!
Earlier, THUNDERdOWNUNDER said goodbye to aliStair. The sniper had been with the team since October 2025—during that time, the team won a number of Australian LAN tournaments and qualified for the IEM Cologne Major 2026, where they finished in 28th–30th place.
