apEX on FUT Esports: “They’re getting better and better”

Team Vitality captain Dan “apEX” Madeskler spoke positively about FUT Esports’ current form in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 and also discussed how his team prepared for the Major.
On FUT Esports
They’ve performed well this year, winning the trophy [at PGL Bucharest 2026. — Ed.], even though not all teams were present at that tournament. In any case, they’re getting better and better. Their players have good individual skills, so it’ll be a tough match for us, but we’re ready.
On training
We tried to adapt new strategies and address what we were lacking in recent tournaments. Then we spent four days at boot camp to make sure we were ready individually and could perform as consistently as possible.
On the team’s morale
Training went well, so we’re ready. We’re ready to fight, because that’s what matters most on the server.
Team Vitality is currently playing against FUT Esports in the first round of IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 3. The winning team will advance to the lower bracket with a 1-0 record, while the losing team will continue to compete with one loss.
