B8 Esports and Monte got into a spat on X amid the scandal over debts owed to players
The Ukrainian organizations B8 Esports and Monte exchanged barbs on the social media platform X. The conflict arose following statements by Monte CEO Dmytro Vovk: in a video addressing the scandal over unpaid wages to former club players, he accused members of the B8 Esports CS2 roster of communicating with Russian esports players.

Earlier, former Monte player Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras reported issues with payments from the organization. Bymas accused the club of delaying salaries and failing to pay out prize money and revenue from team stickers from the Major. His claims were also confirmed by former teammates.
