BetBoom Team’s CS2 players discussed computer viruses at the XSE Pro League 2026

BetBoom Team CS2 esports players Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov and Alexander “zorte” Zagodyrenko reported that they discovered malware on the computers provided by the organizers of the XSE Pro League 2026.
Zorte was the first to speak out; he was the only one on the team who received a PC with antivirus software installed. Thanks to the security software on the player’s device, about ten Trojans were detected, including a specific one called Backdoor.rat.xredline, which provides remote access.
A little later, Magnojez reported that through a collective effort, his teammates found programs such as Spyware.KeyLogger, Trojan.Agent, and GEEK.exe on the system. According to the rifler’s assumption, it was precisely because of these utilities that the attackers were able to steal his Steam account.
The XSE Pro League 2026 is taking place from July 1 to 12 in Guangzhou, China. Eight teams will compete in the playoffs at the sports center of South China Agricultural University. A total of sixteen teams are competing in the championship for a prize pool of $1,000,000.
