BLAST has announced its tournaments for 2027

Tournament organizer BLAST has announced several events in its Open and Rivals series for 2027. The announcement was posted on the organizer’s official page on social media platform X.
The first tournament of the year will take place in Malta from January 11 to 24. Next, Singapore will host the event from March 15 to 28, followed by Rio de Janeiro, where the championship will be held from October 4 to 17.
BLAST also revealed an updated competition format. The Open Series tournaments will retain their 16-team format and a $1.25 million prize pool. The group stage will follow a double-elimination format, while the playoffs will be single-elimination.
The Rivals Championships will feature eight participants with a similar prize pool of $1.25 million. Their format also includes a double-elimination group stage and a single-elimination playoff.
BLAST Bounty 2026 Season 2 is set to begin shortly and will run from July 21 to August 2. The initial stage of the event will be played online, while the final stage will take place in Malta.
