Former esports player Marcelo “coldzera” David shared his thoughts on Legacy’s victory over Team Falcons on his personal page on social media platform X, and also commented on the organization of the 2026 Esports World Cup CS2 championship.
The former pro player reacted emotionally to the South American team’s triumph in the match against the reigning Major champion and also praised the tournament’s visual presentation.
Marcelo “coldzera” David commented on the match result as follows:
This is crazy—Legacy is playing some awesome Counter-Strike! 2-0 against the reigning Major champion! Sensational! Congrats to the guys—they’re playing incredibly well, holy crap.
The former player also commented on the overall organization of the event:
This EWC is just awesome! The qualifiers with this massive bracket, the HUD showing all the players’ webcams in real time, and that beautiful stage—it’s a pleasure to watch. I think the only thing they got wrong was the bo1 format in the first match, but we can overlook that.
Earlier, Legacy defeated Team Falcons in the Esports World Cup 2026 playoffs with a score of 2–0—13–7 on Mirage and 13–10 on Dust2. Thanks to this victory, the team advanced to the next stage of the championship, while their opponent was eliminated from the competition.
