Earlier, Team Spirit defeated FUT Esports 3–1 in the Counter-Strike 2 final of the 2026 Esports World Cup. The Russian team lost on Cache (10–13) but then won on Anubis (16–13), Ancient (16–14), and Nuke (13–5). Team Spirit received $600,000 for first place.
