The esports organization ENCE has announced the cessation of its operations and the initiation of bankruptcy proceedings. The official announcement was made on the club’s page on social media platform X.
ENCE was founded in 2013—the same year it signed its first Counter-Strike team. The Finnish organization’s major achievements over its 13-year history in the discipline include victories at StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 6, BLAST Pro Series: Madrid 2019, and IEM Dallas 2023, as well as a second-place finish at the IEM Katowice Major 2019.
Previously, ENCE finished in 3rd–4th place at the Elisa BreakOut Series #2—thanks to this result, the team earned 37 VRS points and $2,313 in prize money. In Valve’s latest official rankings, the Finnish team was ranked 103rd.
