FalleN on how his retirement plans affect his teammates: “We’re working as if nothing has changed.”

FURIA captain Gabriel “FalleN” Toledo spoke in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 about his team’s current form, assessed B8 Esports, and discussed how his plans to retire have affected his teammates.
On FURIA’s form
Our matches have been pretty good lately. We had a very close game against Team Falcons in the quarterfinals [at PGL Astana 2026. — Ed.]. It felt like victory slipped through our fingers, but the match was excellent. We’re getting better and better, so I’m looking forward to seeing how we perform at the Major.
On the team’s morale
Everything is great; everyone is doing their best. We’re working as if nothing has changed [Following FalleN’s announcement of his retirement. — Ed.]. Every day we try to get better, come up with something new, be creative, and improve our gameplay.
On B8 Esports
B8 Esports has always been a strong team. We played them recently, and if I’m not mistaken, they beat us once. Matches against them are always interesting; they’re never easy.
