G2 Esports defeated Aurora Gaming in its debut match at BLAST Open Porto 2026
G2 Esports defeated Aurora Gaming 2-0 in their first match at BLAST Open Porto 2026.
On the first map, Inferno, the “Samurai” prevailed with a score of 13–5, and on Anubis, they clinched the match in overtime with a score of 16–12.
As a result, G2 Esports will play in the upper bracket semifinals on Friday, while Aurora Gaming has dropped to the lower bracket, where an elimination match awaits them.

BLAST Open Porto 2026 runs from August 26 to September 6. The group stage of the tournament is taking place in Copenhagen (Denmark), while the finals will be held at the Super Bock Arena in Porto (Portugal). Sixteen teams will compete for a total prize pool of $1,100,000.
