Gabe Follower reported on the developers’ unprecedented actions regarding Counter-Strike 2’s anti-cheat system

Insider and data miner Maxim “Gabe Follower” Poletaev reported on his personal page on social media platform X about unprecedented changes to Counter-Strike 2’s anti-cheat system.

The insider shared his thoughts on the current state of the game’s anti-cheat system:

The CS2 developers have done something unprecedented with the anti-cheat system, causing it to completely stop responding to rage hacks. However, I have some interesting news on this topic, and this isn’t the usual clickbait I’m known for. Right now, I’m gathering more information and verifying everything, but it’s already sounding pretty promising. I’ll be releasing a separate video on this situation, probably next week. Just don’t attack me like I’m the bearer of bad news.

In the comments below, he added the following to his statement:

I also really hope Valve doesn’t get upset about this, since they themselves haven’t commented on the existing issue at all.
