HEROIC advanced to the upper bracket final of Stake Ranked Episode 3
HEROIC defeated Phantom Esports in a match on the second day of competition at Stake Ranked Episode 3.
On the first map, Ancient, Kristoffer “Chr1zN” Storgård’s team outplayed their opponents 13-11, but lost to them on the next map, Nuke (14-16). On the decisive map, Dust2, the Norwegian club once again proved stronger than their opponents and closed out the series with a 13-11 victory.
As a result, HEROIC advanced to the upper bracket final of Stake Ranked Episode 3, while Phantom Esports will face elimination tomorrow.
Stake Ranked Episode 3 is taking place from July 15 to 18 in Barcelona. The tournament kicked off directly with the main bracket, which uses a double-elimination format. A total of 8 teams are participating in the tournament, and its total prize pool is $100,000.
