Representatives of the esports organization HEROIC announced on the club’s official page on social media platform X that they have signed Jesper “Udknud” Larsen as a VRS analyst.
The analyst commented on the start of his collaboration with the club as follows:
I’m a competitive person by nature and have long wanted to contribute to the Counter-Strike 2 scene. I’m looking forward to the opportunity to focus entirely on this role. We’ll see if my analytical contributions can help the team gain an edge.
HEROIC Executive Director Joachim Harg commented on the new hire as follows:
We’re pleased to announce that Jesper Larsen is joining us as a data analyst and VRS. Since the introduction of the VRS system, scheduling tournaments has become an incredibly important process. We can’t be entirely sure that we’ll win every match on our way back to the top, but with Jesper on board, we’re guaranteeing our participation in the matches that matter most.
Earlier, Udknud discussed the risk of Astralis and FUT Esports missing the PGL Major Singapore 2026. The expert stated that due to unfinished transfers, Nikita “cmtry” Samoletov could end up on both clubs’ rosters for the Major at the same time. In addition, the expert emphasized that if Astralis performs poorly, the Danish organization will have to urgently recall Rasmus “HooXi” Nielsen or Jacob “jabbi” Nygård from the bench to the main roster to form an eligible roster.
