HexT on Wildcard’s elimination from Stake Ranked Episode 3: “It’s partly due to the heat.”

Wildcard rifler Jadan “HexT” In an interview on Stake Ranked Episode 3, Postma commented on the team’s elimination from the tournament, discussed the reasons for their loss to K27, assessed the impact of the long break, and explained how training in North America affected the team’s performance.
On the match against K27
We just didn’t execute what we’d been practicing over the past week. To be honest, that’s really what it all comes down to. Part of it is due to the heat. Maybe we got more frustrated because we were all soaked through with sweat. So, I think the main problem was that we didn’t play the way we did in practice. The heat played a role too, but I don’t want to blame everything on it.
On coming back after the break
No team comes back from a break 100 percent ready. Not a single one. Even Team Vitality, when they came back, started losing to us at first, which, you know, is pretty strange.
On practicing against North American teams
We just need to get back into the rhythm of the game and make sure we maintain maximum discipline in practice. Before coming here, we practiced a lot against North American teams, and I think that made us less disciplined because no one was penalizing us for the mistakes we were making.
Earlier, Wildcard lost to K27 in the first round of the lower bracket of Stake Ranked Episode 3 with a score of 0–2 in maps. Jadan “HexT” Postma’s team finished the tournament in 7th–8th place, earning $7,500.
