JBOEN on playing for FaZe Clan in CS2: “I try to do everything I can”

EYEBALLERS rifler Freddie “KRiMZ” Johansson and FaZe Clan sniper Jason “JBOEN” Boe Nielsen shared their thoughts on their teammates in an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026.
KRiMZ explained why EYEBALLERS decided to play against FaZe Clan specifically:
I think it’s partly because they wanted revenge. JW is very stubborn by nature; if he loses to a team, he wants to beat them.
In addition, the EYEBALLERS rifler shared his thoughts on his teammates:
They’re all unique. Ro1f is the kind of player you absolutely need on a team; he excels in his roles. If you tell him to do something, he does it without asking any questions. It’s important to have a player like that. maxster is more of a star player, and dex has been switching roles ever since I joined the team. He plays quite aggressively.
Freddy also shared how exactly he can help the team:
It’s important to stay calm, because during previous matches at the arena, I’ve noticed that some of the players start to get nervous—they aren’t calm enough. I think that’s exactly where I can help the team.
For his part, JBOEN touched on his adjustment to FaZe Clan:
We have some new tactics right now. We’ve also figured out exactly how I should play. I talked to the coach a bit after practice and asked for advice. I’m trying to do everything I can.
Earlier today, the team defeated EYEBALLERS in their debut match at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026—16–12 on Mirage and 13–8 on Dust2. As a result, Jesper “JW” Vexel’s team finished the tournament in 17th–32nd place.
