FURIA rifler Kaike “KSCERATO” Serato, in an interview at BLAST Open Porto 2026, commented on the team’s advancement to the tournament’s playoffs and discussed the progress of the Brazilian scene.
I think we need Brazilians to be in Porto. Portugal and Brazil have long-standing ties, so I’m glad we can show what we’re capable of to the Brazilians living there, as well as to the Portuguese. So, see you there.
They actually played really well—it was tough. In some rounds, they went for A when we only had one player, or even two, and that made it difficult. Plus, they played very well after setting up the plant.
I think YEKINDAR is more of a—he knows all kinds of, like, tricky stuff, because I think he plays more FPL than anyone else on the team, while FalleN is more about slow rounds and other things—more about reading the game. I think they’re both really good, but I don’t think YEKINDAR can be the IGL on every map. That’s too much for him.
They play really well. It was really tough to play against them in the third-place match at the tournament in Paris. So yeah, and overall I think they have a good roster. I think latto plays very well. Also, dumau and try are amazing. The roster they have right now is very important for the Brazilian scene because we can reach the top again.
We’ve been showing this for a while now, but it’s nice to see Legacy and 9z Team making a comeback at major tournaments as well and playing very well, knocking out top-tier teams. So overall, Brazil is on a winning streak.
Earlier, FURIA defeated M80 in a group stage match at BLAST Open Porto 2026 and advanced to the tournament’s final stage, which will take place in Porto. On Monday, Kaike “KSCERATO” Serato’s team will face Team Spirit to determine their seeding in the playoffs.
