The Brazilian esports organization LOUD has suddenly disbanded its Counter-Strike 2 roster, which it had previously signed but never officially introduced. This was reported by team captain Leonardo “zmb” Toledo and coach Pablo “disturbed” Fernández.
The players are now free agents. According to zmb, the team plans to continue competing together under the LP tag and is looking for a new organization, though the players are also open to considering individual offers.
According to Dust2 Brasil, LOUD had agreed to sign the LP roster back in May. The organization covered the team’s tournament entry fees as well as a boot camp in Portugal. Despite this, the club never announced the full launch of its Counter-Strike 2 division.
This decision was made amid significant changes in Brazil. The country’s president, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, signed a document that completely bans the operations of bookmakers and online casinos.
Earlier, Dust2 Brasil announced the cancellation of BetBoom Storm #5 and #6, which were scheduled to take place by the end of 2026. The organizers attributed the decision to circumstances beyond their control. This also followed Brazil’s ban on the operations of bookmakers and online casinos.
