
Representatives of the esports organization Luminosity Gaming announced on the club’s official page on social media platform X that they have signed Alexander “kakafu” Shimanchik as head coach of their CS2 roster.
Prior to joining Luminosity Gaming, kakafu worked at organizations such as PENTA Sports, BIG, Unicorns of Love, OG, and Monte. His most significant achievements as a coach at major tournaments include a top-8 finish at the PGL Major Kraków 2017 and a 9th–11th place finish at the PGL Major Cluj-Napoca 2025 with the German club BIG.
Today, Luminostiy Gaming also announced that Aurimas “Bymas” Pipiras has been moved to the bench. In 2026, the club competed in only two major Counter-Strike 2 tournaments: the XSE Pro League 2026 and the Esports World Cup 2026. It remains unknown which player will become the fifth member of the starting roster.
