When I walked into my hotel room after the victory, I started crying and it really hit me.

I think it’s some kind of karrigan magic. After he joined the team, we took 2nd place at PGL Astana 2026. Then we went to Shanghai for the CS Asia Championships 2026 and finished second again. We worked on our mistakes and went to the Major, giving it our all. Of course, we knew we hadn’t had the ideal preparation for it in such a short amount of time, but we won anyway.

Earlier, analyst Alex “Mauisnake” Ellenberg stated on the Hot Take Point Made podcast that Team Falcons’ performance throughout the entire IEM Cologne Major 2026 was outstanding. He also noted that no one expected the team to play so well or win the tournament.
