Esports players Ivan “zweih” Gogin of PARIVISION and Maximiliano “max” Gonzalez of 9z Team shared their expectations for their teams’ upcoming match in the championship grand final during an interview at the XSE Pro League 2026.
max: “For me, there’s no clear favorite in the grand final, but we’re confident, we have no doubts about the outcome, and we plan to take home this trophy.” Our opponents have been performing very well in the tournament; they’ve recently made some roster changes, and now their style, as I see it, is different from what it was in previous championships. We’ll have to give it our all to win today. Before the match, I simply told my guys to enjoy the moment, the wonderful Chinese crowd, and have fun playing CS.
zweih: The lineup changes helped us refresh our mindset and playing style. In this tournament, things have been going much better for us from the very start than in the previous three, so I hope this trend continues today. I think we’re fully prepared to play all five maps right now. We prepared much more thoroughly for this decisive match than we did for previous ones, so I believe our chances of beating 9z are much higher than before. If we continue to perform at the same level we did yesterday and in our match against BIG, we’ll be able to easily win this final.
