NertZ on r1nkle: “This guy is just incredible.”

G2 Esports rifler Guy “NertZ” Iluz spoke about his team’s preparations in an interview at BLAST Bounty Summer 2026, gave his assessment of the team’s new sniper, Artem “r1nkle” Moroz, and also discussed the current map pool.
On the team’s preparation
We played from home for about four days and spent about five days at boot camp.
On r1nkle
r1nkle needs to adapt and understand how we play; we have a lot of set plays. Overall, this guy is just incredible.
On playing Anubis against Nemiga Gaming
We practiced Anubis a lot, but I don’t think we lost on that map because of a poor performance. I’d say they dictated the pace of the game, especially on defense, and we didn’t punish them when we needed to. That’s exactly why we lost—they did the right things, and it all came down to one-on-one duels.
On Cache
I like Cache; for a long time, it was one of my top two favorite maps. Now it’s back, but I’m sorry they removed Overpass, since we were performing well on it. But Cache is a comfortable map for us, too.
Earlier, G2 Esports defeated Nemiga Gaming in the BLAST Bounty Summer 2026 with a 2–1 map score—9–13 on Anubis, 13–8 on Mirage, and 13–8 on Ancient. As a result, Nemanya “huNter-” Kovač’s team advanced, while the Belarusian squad finished the tournament in 17th–32nd place.
