Former GamerLegion captain Janusz “Snax” Pogozhelski took to his personal X account to comment on his departure from the team’s active roster, thank the players and coaching staff for their collaboration, and discuss his plans for the future.
Hi everyone, I need to write something. My contract ends in just two months, and I feel like this season has really taken its toll on me. It was hard for me to keep focusing on professional play and helping the guys, so about a month and a half ago, I asked imd to start looking for a replacement for me. Obviously, if that hadn’t worked out, I would have helped finish out the season, giving it everything I had left (and to be honest, there wasn’t much left in the tank).
I want to thank each and every player and staff member—everything went well! Obviously, this season was tough, with a whole string of stand-ins and just too much going on, but that’s just how it is.
I’m most grateful to imd for his time, hard work, and dedication. I respect him deeply and know he’s a great coach, so please don’t blame him for this whole situation.
Thank you all for following us and cheering us on!
What’s next, guys? I don’t know myself. For now, I need a little break, and we’ll see what happens next. Maybe I’ll hang up my mouse by New Year’s, or maybe I’ll come back as the Major’s MVP—who knows.
P.S. I’d love to play some *The Witcher* on stream.
Earlier, GamerLegion reported that Janusz “Snax” Pogozhelski had been moved to the bench for the Counter-Strike 2 roster. Alexander “shalfey” Marenov has become the team’s new captain.
