Swisher on M80’s CS2 roster: “We’ve made a lot of changes, including to our map pool.”
Natus Vincere and M80 captains Aleksi “Aleksib” Virolainen and Michael “Swisher” Schmid shared their thoughts ahead of their match at the BLAST Open Porto 2026 in an interview.
Aleksib stated that M80 had plenty of time to prepare for the match:
They had time to prepare: the players went home and practiced. As for us, we continued training in Paris, flew here, and kept practicing here.
Swisher, in turn, said his team was ready to face Natus Vincere:
As far as I remember, the last time we faced them was at the BLAST Open London 2025, and we beat them then. So we’re approaching this match with the same level of confidence.
He also assessed the current CS2 rosters of M80 and Natus Vincere:
Of course, a lot has changed. HexT is no longer with us; JBA is playing for us now. As for Natus Vincere, it seems like they have the same roster as before. We’ve made a lot of changes, including to our map pool.
Right now, Natus Vincere and M80 are playing a match as part of the BLAST Open Porto 2026. The first map, Anubis, ended with a score of 13–4 in favor of Alexi “Aleksib” Virolainen’s team, but M80 took Mirage 13–6. The decisive match will take place on Inferno.
