tabseN on BIG: “We’ve had a long journey, with many ups and downs.”

BIG’s CS2 rifler Johannes “tabseN” Vodarc spoke in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 about the team’s difficult journey over the past few years and their qualification for the Major.
On playing for BIG
We’ve had a long journey, with many ups and downs. The last two years have seen a lot of less-than-successful performances, but I truly appreciate every moment along the way. To this day, I’m proud to wear the team’s jersey. I consider it a huge achievement that I’ve been part of this organization and a player on the pro scene for so long. Plus, it’s great to be back in Cologne.
On qualifying for the IEM Cologne Major 2026
It was tough, but to be honest, over the last few months of this year we grinded a lot and achieved a lot of what we wanted to be here.
The day before at the IEM Cologne Major 2026, BIG faced NRG and was down 0-12 on the decisive map, Mirage, but then staged a comeback on defense and won 16-12 in overtime. Thus, the German team advanced to the second stage of the tournament. Johannes “tabseN” Vodartz, for his part, called the match “crazy.”
