Team Spirit advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup in CS2, while Team Vitality was eliminated from the tournament
Team Spirit defeated Team Vitality in the quarterfinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup.
The “Dragons” defeated their opponents on the first map, Anubis, with a score of 13–11, but then lost the next map, Nuke, 14–16. On the decisive map, Mirage, Danil “donk” Kryshkovets’ team crushed the “Bees” 13–3.
As a result, Team Spirit advanced to the semifinals of the 2026 Esports World Cup, while Team Vitality finished the tournament in 5th–8th place, earning $60,000.
The Esports World Cup 2026 for Counter-Strike 2 is taking place from August 12 to 23 in Paris. Thirty-two teams are participating in the tournament, half of which advanced to the playoffs following the group stage. The prize pool for the LAN event is $2,000,000.
