Team Vitality’s V.Hive headquarters in Paris was ransacked on October 17 during mass protests in France. The organization reported on X that none of its employees or fans were injured, and the facility will remain closed until the full extent of the damage has been assessed.
According to club representatives, display cases were smashed at the V.Hive facility, and trophies and computer equipment were stolen. Team Vitality did not specify exactly which awards were missing but promised to provide details later.
V.Hive is Team Vitality’s headquarters in central Paris. In addition to offices, the approximately 400-square-meter space houses a gaming area, a café, and the club’s official store.
Team Vitality co-founder and CEO Fabien “Neo” Davidé commented on the incident on X:
Let me remind you: V.Hive was born from the dream of a kid who grew up in computer clubs, where he discovered and fell in love with esports—back then, home internet was still too expensive.
Since the very beginning, one hour of gaming here has cost €3.50. This is no accident. We’ve always wanted teenagers and people with modest incomes to be able to come play, meet up, and share their passion at an affordable price. Despite inflation, we’ve never raised our prices.
V.Hive is also a symbol of our coming of age. We wanted to show that esports isn’t just something that exists on the other side of the screen: it brings people together, creates connections, memories, and real-life interactions.
Our appearance in Shanghai [Team Vitality’s VALORANT roster advanced to the grand final of VALORANT Champions 2026 on October 17. — Ed.] was a dream come true for me, and today, thousands of kilometers away from there, I see a part of me going up in smoke.
The right to protest is a fundamental freedom that I will defend for the rest of my life. Thank you to those who stand up for their beliefs. But looting and destruction must never have a place in this struggle.
Tonight, I just feel very bitter.
Earlier, Team Vitality’s CS2 squad won two trophies in a row. In September, the team became the champion of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2026, defeating Aurora Gaming 3–1 in the grand final, and on October 11, they won ESL Pro League Season 24, not conceding a single map to MOUZ in the final.
