The 3DMAX captain released an official statement regarding the team’s future and their search for sponsorship.

Hi, X. It’s been a long time. I decided to take a break to reflect and share my thoughts in light of recent news. This will be a long post, and I’m grateful to everyone who reads it all the way through.

I feel it’s important to do this because I’m the captain; I’ve represented this wonderful team since 2023, and I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved and how we’ve done it under these circumstances. Everyone involved in this initiative—from my teammates to the staff—has helped me, as well as the project itself, grow and develop.

I’ve been absent from social media for many reasons. The main one is my focus on improving my form and striving to be as competitive as possible alongside 3DMAX, giving it my all, as always. As you may have noticed, since the beginning of 2026, the results have started to matter a little more…

The last few weeks and months have been very important for us and for me, especially given the circumstances in which we were growing and living. The pressure of competition has always been a privilege, but this was a different kind of pressure—one that few can handle and fight against on a daily basis, given the very grueling schedule that has recently taken hold in CS2. But somehow we kept fighting and performing…

Obviously, this took a toll on everything we did; it was mentally taxing and exhausting. I couldn’t let anyone down, so I tried to do everything I could to make sure we never gave up—otherwise, it would have been a double punishment. Everyone was 100% committed, but month after month, starting last summer, it seemed like everyone was exhausted and at their breaking point (which makes sense) even with such strong passion and love for the game.

In recent days, it’s been very difficult to plan for the future, so I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting on this amazing nine-year journey in CS to understand why I’m here.

Why am I making this statement? Deep down inside me, my competitive drive and passion for CS will remain forever. My instinct never lets me down. And it tells me to keep going as far as I can—that’s exactly how I’ve grown, and today, CS remains my priority.

I can say with confidence that I bring something unique and authentic to my teams, and what we built as a collective at 3DMAX was special. And we can do even more and better in the right environment—one that’s mentally safer than the one we’ve had over the past year and a half.

At the same time, I’m aiming to compete in Singapore, at the upcoming Majors, and in the Tier 1 tournament circuit next year. We’re currently ranked 40th in the VRS standings with a wide point spread, given our lack of wins at offline events, which doesn’t quite reflect where we’re capable of being. We’ll be competing in several LAN tournaments and online competitions leading up to the points allocation for the Singapore Major, starting in September.
