The Austin LAN 2026 VRS CS2 tournament has been announced
Content creator Austin “Austin” Meadows posted on his personal X page, announcing Austin LAN 2026 in collaboration with tournament operator FRAG.
The VRS event will take place November 13–15 in Naperville, USA. A total of 32 teams will compete in the tournament, each paying a $2,250 entry fee. According to the announcement, the organizers will provide participants with room and board for the duration of the event. The format of Austin LAN 2026 has not yet been announced.

Prize Pool Distribution
The prize pool for Austin LAN 2026 will total $30,000, to be shared among the top 8 teams based on the tournament results.
- 1st place — $13,000;
- 2nd place — $6,500;
- 3rd–4th place — $3,000 each;
- 5th–6th place — $1,500 each;
- 7th–8th place — $750 each.
Earlier, ESL announced the list of participants for the closed qualifiers for IEM Beijing 2026 in Counter-Strike 2—24 teams will compete for three invites to the main stage of the tournament, which will take place November 2–8 in China.
