The organizers of IEM Beijing 2026 for CS2 have announced the list of teams invited to the closed qualifiers for the tournament

The official X account of tournament operator ESL Counter-Strike has published a list of teams that have received direct invitations to the closed qualifiers for the upcoming IEM Beijing 2026 CS2 championship.

The organizers announced the first 16 teams that will begin competing in the qualifying stage. A total of 24 teams will participate in the qualifiers, vying for three spots in the main stage of the tournament. The remaining slots will be allocated among the winners of the open qualifiers.

The following teams received direct invites to the Global Qualifier stage:

  • MIBR;
  • B8 Esports;
  • BIG;
  • GamerLegion;
  • magic;
  • paiN Gaming;
  • DENDELE CS;
  • HEROIC;
  • 3DMAX;
  • EYEBALLERS;
  • HOTU;
  • K27.

Four more spots in this stage will be filled by teams from the open qualifiers.

As part of the Asia Qualifier regional stage, direct invitations were awarded to the following teams:

  • TYLOO;
  • Lynn Vision Gaming;
  • FlyQuest;
  • DEPO.

The remaining four slots in the Asian region will also be filled by the winners of the open qualifiers.

The Intel Extreme Masters Beijing 2026 will take place November 2–8 in Beijing, China. The Bloomage Biotech Biohyalux ECM Arena will host the matches of the final stage of this international LAN tournament. The event’s total prize pool will be $1.25 million, and the champion will also earn a point toward the Intel Grand Slam.
