Thour compared the performance of maps in CS2—Mirage and Dust 2 deliver the highest FPS

Data miner Avi “Thour” Thour compared the performance of all maps in the current Counter-Strike 2 map pool and explained which ones offer players the highest FPS. He shared the results on his personal X account.
Mirage and Dust 2 are the best maps for playing in Premier if you want to achieve the highest possible FPS in the game. Ancient and Cache have the lowest average FPS among all seven maps in the current map pool. The difference in average FPS between Mirage and Cache is approximately 22.8%, while the FPS in the worst 1% of frames is nearly 5% lower.
By the way, results will vary on each system. My PC is optimized, so even with the same configuration, you may get different results. However, the map rankings will likely be very similar on low-end, mid-range, and high-end PCs alike.
Earlier, data miner Avi “Thour” Thour discovered a new console command, `mp_shoot_dropped_grenades`, in the Counter-Strike 2 files, added with the latest update. It allows players to detonate dropped grenades with gunfire.
