xertioN on MOUZ’s form: “We need to take a new step forward”

MOUZ captain Dorian “xertioN” Berman spoke in an interview at the IEM Cologne Major 2026 about the team’s mindset heading into the tournament, their training leading up to the Major, and Adrian “xelex” Vincze’s adjustment.
On the team’s mindset heading into the tournament
We feel good and are confident. We’ve had a lot of practice leading up to this tournament. We’re trying not to stagnate or revert to the form we had in Astana and China—we need to take a new step forward.
On training
First, we trained at home, then we went to boot camp for four days. In my opinion, training for a couple of days at boot camp before a Major is even better than a week. We worked on reintegrating Brollan into the system. He’s back with us now as a player, and a lot has changed for him.
On xelex
So far, Adrian is handling the pressure well. At the beginning of your career, I think it’s actually easier because you have less experience. Overall, he’s doing great. Of course, I talk to him all the time, since I used to play the role he has now.
Right now, MOUZ is playing against Legacy in the first round of the IEM Cologne Major 2026 Stage 3. The winner of the match will advance to the 1:0 bracket of the Swiss system, while the losing team will drop to the 0:1 bracket. The tournament is taking place from June 2 to 21 in Cologne, with a prize pool of $1,250,000.
