Dota 2 Update as of July 2: Changes to matchmaking conditions that do not require spending role tokens in ranked games

On the night of June 2, the Dota 2 developers released a minor update that added gear rewards for matches, changed the conditions for matchmaking without spending role tokens, and updated the game’s service files.
List of Changes
- Signature service files have been updated.
- Changes have been made to the game client and server files for Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Added gear rewards for matches in Normal and Turbo modes. You earn 1 gear for a match in Turbo mode and 2 in Normal mode. Winning or losing does not affect the reward. Six cogs can be exchanged for any “Dark Carnival” event ticket.
- The conditions for finding a match without spending role tokens have been changed. Now, you only need to select the one role that is in highest demand.
The update size is 70.1 MB.
