Dota 2 Update from August 18, 2026: Changes to Water Particles
On the night of August 18, Valve released an update for Dota 2 that addressed the water particles in rivers and waterfalls on the map.
List of Changes
- Water particles on the Dota 2 map have been updated;
- Server and client files have been updated;
- Steam Workshop tools have been updated.
The update size was 45.7 MB.
Earlier, Team Spirit analyst Mark Lerman reported a bug where Lina’s Level 25 ability, “Attacks deal 150% critical damage to victims of Slow Burn,” stops working if the hero purchases Daedalus or Crystalys.
