Kataomi` injured his leg ahead of the 2026 Esports World Cup in Dota 2

BetBoom Team manager Luka “Lukawa” Nasuashvili shared on his personal Telegram channel details about the injury sustained by the team’s support player, Vladislav “Kataomi`” Semenov, which he suffered while on vacation ahead of the 2026 Esports World Cup.
Lukawa: It’s business as usual for us, guys—always something funny happening—that’s our theme… Hey, Vlad, say a few words for everyone—what happened?
Kataomi: I was on vacation in Turkey; I had a great time. I slipped at the hotel, took a bad fall, and fractured my kneecap, but we’re not giving up—we’re already back on track, and we’ll do our best.
Lukawa: You can’t break us—we’re already broken, as some have said.
The format and group stage draw for the 2026 Esports World Cup were announced earlier. BetBoom Team’s first match will take place tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. Moscow time against Team Falcons; the teams will face off in a best-of-two series.
