MieRo on BetBoom Team’s growth in Dota 2: “We’ve continued to improve.”
BetBoom Team players (BoomBoys) Matvey “MieRo” Vasyuni and Vitaly “Save-” Melnik spoke about PARIVISION (TEAM VISION) in an interview at The International 2026 and shared what winning the tournament means to them.
On the group stage
MieRo: Our journey in the group stage started with some challenges. We made mistakes, and we had to work on them, but we kept improving.
On PARIVISION
MieRo: When we played against PARIVISION in the group stage, we were too intimidated by them because we’d lost to them at the previous tournament. We’ll be ready for the playoffs.
Save-: They’re considered the best team in this tournament. I sincerely believe my team can win. That’s the only way to play in The International playoffs. Otherwise, there’s no point in competing.
On the significance of winning The International
MieRo: Of course, everyone here wants to win TI, just like I do. But for me, the main thing is that we made it to the playoffs and will be playing on stage. My family and our fans will be watching me. This is my fourth TI, and it’s the most important one for me. My goal and mission is to win the Aegis.
Save-: Winning TI is my dream. Obviously, I’m excited. This is my fifth TI, and I’m dying to win. Our expectations are always the same. Before the tournament, we wanted to finish in the top 3. That hasn’t changed, even though we didn’t have the best group stage.
