Commentator Dmitry “Mortalles” Arzhilovsky shared his prediction on his personal Telegram channel for the match between Team Yandex and Team Liquid in the upper bracket quarterfinals of The International 2026.
...> We have a very interesting match ahead, and many are writing off Yandex before their time. The only area where there could be a huge difference is mid lane, if Chira gets intimidated. He’s having a mediocre tournament, though I don’t know what’s causing it. Otherwise, I can easily see Yandex winning. I’ll definitely be rooting for them, of course. The key is not to miss out on him in the draft—Liquid plays him way too well. And they need to be ready for all the spirits + the one from Nishi. The latter could even be a game-changer for both teams.
If Yandex wins today, they’re just one series away from the top 3, where they definitely won’t be the underdogs.
