OG’s carry, John Anthony “Natsumi-” Vargas, spoke in an interview at The International 2026 about the season and the reason behind Mark “Raven” Polo Luis Fausto joining the team.
Our performance has been pretty solid throughout the year. At first, it seemed like we were on the rise because we placed well in many tournaments, but as the season went on, we gradually started to slip.
I think we were slow to learn and slow to adapt. Perhaps another factor is that in Southeast Asia, our public servers aren’t as high-quality as those on European servers. I think that was the main reason.
I think the main reason was that it was quite difficult for us to play against TORONTOTOKYO. No offense, but we had a hard time adapting to some of the nuances of the European playstyle. There are four of us players from Southeast Asia, and it wasn’t easy for us to adjust to the European style. That’s why inviting Raven helped make the team stronger again—both in terms of team chemistry and gameplay.
Earlier, OG’s players and coach commented on the team’s elimination from The International 2026 on their personal social media accounts, sharing their feelings about the end of their run and thanking fans for their support.
