NS spoke out about Gorgc’s ban and discussed the request to remove banners from The International 2026 community casts

Former professional player and community caster Yaroslav “NS” Kuznetsov spoke out during a stream about the ban on Yanne “Gorgc” Stefanowski’s channel.

On the demand to remove banners

“Just wait for the other streamers—they’ve all got their faces covered in banners; they’ll all get banned soon.” Well, actually, yeah. Actually, yeah. See, a guy from PGL—or maybe even from Valve—just popped into our stream and messaged me to check something, so to speak. And I, so to speak, checked it out. And there he says, “Take down the banner, for ***’s sake.” Well, I say, “w1llw1ns, take it down.”

By the way, they’re not messing around. I think they’ll send this to everyone. If you don’t take it down now, they’ll really start banning people. They’re not messing around. He said, “Take it down quick.” That’s exactly what he said. Looks like, after Gorgc’s ban yesterday, they’ve gone after everyone; now they’ll start checking who’s watching the feeds. Well, right on—send them there. I’d ban them all.

About Gorgc’s ban

“Why is everyone else keeping their banners up, but you were told to take yours down?” Well, I think everyone was told to take them down. The fact that they didn’t take theirs down should have some kind of consequence in a normal world, but who knows. I don’t care; banners don’t affect anything. They’re there, or they’re not. They were told to take them down—they did; what’s it to us?

Gorgc got banned, yeah. I think Gorgc got banned not for the banners, but for pirating the official stream nonstop. I think that’s the real reason. Although who knows.

Earlier, streamer Janne “Gorgc” Stefanowski’s Twitch channel was suspended while he was covering matches in the group stage of The International 2026. “This is the first time I’ve ever been banned on Twitch; I have no idea why the Dota 2 developers did this,” the caster commented on the situation.
