Team Falcons were eliminated from The International 2026
Team Liquid defeated Team Falcons in the first round of the lower bracket at The International 2026.
The first game began with Team Falcons applying pressure; they built a massive lead as the game progressed and won easily. The second game was evenly matched, but thanks to winning several team fights, Team Liquid pulled ahead and secured the victory. The third map didn’t feature much pressure from either team, but thanks to well-executed team fights, Liquid was able to secure the win.
Thus, Team Liquid advances to the lower bracket quarterfinals, while Team Falcons is eliminated from the tournament.
The final stage of The International 2026 will take place August 20–23 at the Shanghai East Sports Center. Eight teams will compete in the playoffs, and the tournament’s total prize pool currently stands at over $3,235,711.
