Team Yandex defeated Team Liquid in the upper bracket quarterfinals of The International 2026 playoffs.
On the first map, Team Liquid built a significant lead, but Team Yandex managed to win a crucial team fight and secure the victory, despite their opponent’s large gold lead. The second match went Team Yandex’s way.
As a result, Team Yandex advances to the upper bracket semifinals, while Team Liquid drops to the first round of the lower bracket.
The International 2026 playoffs will be held in-person from August 20 to 23 at the Shanghai East Sports Center. The remaining eight teams will continue to battle for the chance to make history and claim the championship title.
