The matchups for the knockout round of the group stage at The International 2026 have been announced
Valve has published the seedings for the group stage knockout round of The International 2026 on the official Dota 2 website.
Based on the results of the knockout round, five teams will be eliminated from The International 2026—they will finish in 9th through 13th place—while the winners will advance to the playoffs of the year’s main tournament.
Schedule for the Knockout Round of The International 2026
August 16, times listed in Moscow time.
- 5:00 a.m. — Team Falcons vs. Vici Gaming;
- 5:00 a.m. — Aurora Gaming vs. BoomBoys;
- 08:00 — Team Spirit vs. Team Resilience;
- 8:00 a.m. — Iron Wing vs. GamerLegion;
- 11:00 — LGD Gaming vs. Team Yandex.
The International 2026 playoffs will be held in-person from August 20 to 23 at the Shanghai East Sports Center. As of this writing, the prize pool for the year’s main tournament stands at over $3,000,000.
