The Natus Vincere manager spoke emotionally about missing out on the 2026 Esports World Cup and The International 2026

Natus Vincere manager Zhanna “Ryzhaya” Batkovna took to her personal Telegram channel to comment on the club’s failure to qualify for the 2026 Esports World Cup and The International 2026.
Hi, everyone. I’m sitting here right now, feeling sad, of course, about how the season turned out—we can already draw a line under it. To those who are just as sad about this as I am, I’d like to say: I’m sorry, guys, to those whose expectations and hopes we didn’t live up to. I want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you for the support you’ve shown throughout the entire season.
There was a good stretch where the guys played well; there were some great moments, like our run, and we had a solid breakthrough. There were times when we were comfortably advancing through the qualifiers. But we’ve had a bit of a rough finish now, with how these two tournaments ended.
We’ll sit down now and draw our conclusions. I’d also like to personally thank our guys. I’d really like you all to try to keep your emotions in check right now, too. It’s hard for them—it’s harder for them than it is for us—and that’s why we need to support them even more, because they’re taking on a huge challenge, and a great, beautiful esports journey awaits each and every one of them.
Each of them will have their own International, Allegis, and EWC tournaments ahead. And I absolutely adore our guys. They’re our awesome guys who’ve given us so many exciting moments and are trying to delight us with their gameplay. We’ll do our best—we need to hang in there.
And I think our task right now would be... But, again, I’m writing this down on a whim right now, because I think you’d be interested to hear what thoughts are going through my head at the moment. I’d like for us to be able to keep our team, our boys. So we’ll work toward that.
And Dota is important to Natus Vincere; Dota is loved at NAVI. Let’s hope there will be more tournaments, more qualifiers, and more titles and trophies for us to lift; let’s hope our fans will be at the tournaments, and that you’ll enjoy cheering for us.
So thank you, guys, once again for your support. I think all further news will continue to be reported, and we’ll keep an eye on it. Well, those are my personal thoughts. These are my thoughts—that’s how they are.
Natus Vincere lost to Pipsqueak+4 and LGD Gaming in the Western Europe qualifiers for the 2026 Esports World Cup and failed to advance to the tournament, and in the qualifiers for The International 2026, they were unable to defeat LIGA TEAM, which competes under the tag HULIGANI.
