Valve has banned the use of AI in creating talent bundles for The International 2026
The Dota 2 developers have issued a notice stating that the use of artificial intelligence to create talent support sets for The International 2026 is prohibited. Excerpts from this announcement were published on the DOTA_DM_CHAT Telegram channel.
- “Your photo was created or edited using generative AI.”
- “Your autograph was created using generative AI.”
- “The voice line {d:voiceline_number} was created using generative AI.”
Earlier, the Dota 2 developers published the full list of participants for The International 2026 on the game’s official website, revealed the teams’ embroidered-style logos, and presented the rules for the tournament’s group stage.
