Arcadia on Selangor Red Giants: “This level of play isn’t the peak of our potential yet; we believe in that.”

Selangor Red Giants head coach Michael Angelo “Arcadia” Bokado and assistant coach Poon Kok “OzoraVeki” Sing discussed their victory in the MPL Malaysia Season 17 Grand Final and thanked substitute jungler Unii for stepping in for explainer Kramm during the tournament.
On winning MPL Malaysia Season 17
Arcadia: First, I want to say that this season has been one we’ll remember forever. We’ll showcase everything we’ve learned this season on the international stage, as well as demonstrate what we’ve gained from past performances. We are truly confident that we continue to improve. This level of play is not yet the peak of our capabilities; we believe in that. We can get better and better every day as long as we remain hungry and humble. We are confident in our readiness to fight for the title.
I’d like to highlight Unii’s performance. Believe us, we wouldn’t have become champions without him. When we needed a substitute, he was ready to step in, despite the difference in our roles. We dedicate this victory to him; he means a lot to us. I hope you appreciate him. We love him.
About the Grand Final
OzoraVeki: We’ll remember this season for a long time, because right now we managed to win the grand final with a score of 4:0. We wouldn’t have been able to win so easily without the tremendous support of our fans and loved ones.
I also want to thank Unii for his impressive play throughout the season. He really had a big impact on us.
Selangor Red Giants defeated Team Vamos 4-0 in the MPL Malaysia Season 17 Grand Final to claim first place in the competition. Along with the championship title, the “Giants” received $31,800 and a slot in the main stage of the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026.
