Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Test Server Update (June 12, 2026): Bruno Rework

On June 12, the developers of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang released an update for the test server, which reworked Bruno and introduced a number of balance changes.
Reworked Hero
With the 10th anniversary approaching, we are conducting a full visual remaster of Bruno. The new model, hero portrait, and other visual elements will be available on the test server once they are completed. Stay tuned for updates!
In this update, we’ve revamped his core abilities. While preserving his original traits, we’ve improved his playability and conducted a comprehensive round of balance adjustments. The new Bruno will be a more mobile and fearsome attacker.
Mid-Air Strike
We believe that the original mid-air shot placed too much of a burden on players. In the current environment, players might not have been able to pick up the boosted ball in time, even if they planned their movement and positioning correctly. Therefore, we’ve optimized it to better reward players who make the right decisions on the battlefield.
We’ve also improved the control over this skill:
- The landing range of the boosted ball now depends on Bruno’s movement speed.
- Movement speed boost is now granted upon hitting the boosted ball instead of dealing damage, which simplifies control and mastery of the skill.
- The movement speed boost now fades gradually. This prevents situations where it’s harder to pick up the ball due to high movement speed at the landing point.
- The landing position of the boosted ball will no longer pass through walls.
- The Power Ball can now be used even while under the effects of certain control effects.
Ball Interception
We believe that the original ball interception could put players in relatively dangerous positions. Therefore, we have reworked the skill so that it better assists players in chasing or escaping.
- The default direction for using Ball Interception has been changed to the joystick direction.
- Removed effects that pulled the boosted ball, dealt damage, and stunned enemies. It now automatically gains the boosted ball after the dash ends.
Wave of Peace
We believe the original Wave of Peace had too many effects, making it difficult to understand and use correctly. Therefore, we have reworked the skill to focus on initiating team fights from a distance and quickly gaining Mechanical Leg charges.
- Now the ultimate inflicts a brief stun and a strong fading slow on the first target hit and no longer reduces physical defense.
- The knockback effect on the first target hit has been optimized. The target will now be knocked back to the maximum range of Bruno’s attack.
- The Empowered Ball now prioritizes enemy heroes when bouncing between enemy units.
- Increased cast range.

With the previous test server update, the developers of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang nerfed meta heroes such as Pakito, Fovius, and others. The game developers also removed Marcel’s out-of-combat healing but compensated for this with base regeneration.
