shelianer talked about preparing for opponents in MLBB
Level UP jungler Danil “shelianer” Gribovsky spoke in an interview during the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8 about advancing to the playoffs and the match against Rune Eaters.
On how it felt to make the playoffs
We just planned to win. We knew that if we won the first or second match... It seems like the third one isn’t that important, but obviously, we’ll win tomorrow too. We’re moving on, and we’ll keep moving on. Of course, we had higher expectations for the regular season—we could have done better—but we played the way we did.
On the game against the Rune Eaters
They just played well—that happens. As for the Rune Eaters... Well, all I can say is that they seemed stronger in the first round; maybe they’re just not in top form right now—something like that.
On preparing for opponents
I think it’s unprofessional to just show up and play the game. In some of my old teams, we used to not prepare for anyone—we’d just mess around against most teams. But now we prepare for every team, and I like that.
Earlier, Level UP defeated Rune Eaters on the second day of Week 6 of the MLBB Continental Championships Season 8. The team secured fifth place in the group and guaranteed its spot in the playoffs.
