Tienzy: “We’re going to Paris not just to participate in a prestigious tournament, but to win.”

Aurora Gaming jungler Sidar “Tienzy” Mentes shared his thoughts on the team’s championship victory in an interview with the organizers of the MTC Turkiye Championship Season 7, spoke about the match against FUT Esports in the grand final, and commented on the team securing a spot in the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026.
On winning the competition
I’m really happy that we managed to win the MTC. Last competitive season wasn’t all smooth sailing for our team, but this trophy makes it clear that we remain the best team in the Turkish region.
On the match against FUT Esports
The opponent was no pushover. At first, we were confident, but then we lost once, then twice. It became clear that we needed to adapt to our opponents. We played carefully and tried to identify and correct mistakes in our style right in the middle of the match. I can say that it was our composure and discipline that helped us prevail in the match. Plus, we drafted really well, which is why we ended up being stronger.
On qualifying for the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026
We’re heading to Paris not just to participate in a prestigious tournament, but to win. We want to become the undisputed world champions. We understand that the best teams from the Philippines, Indonesia, and other regions will be there, but we’re still ready to face them, compete for the championship, and bring the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026 trophy back to Turkey.
The MTC Turkiye Championship Season 7 took place from April 11 to June 7. The tournament’s regular season and playoffs were held online, while the grand final took place in Istanbul, Turkey. Eight teams competed for a prize pool of $37,992 and two invitations to the MLBB Mid Season Cup 2026. Aurora Gaming emerged as the champion.
