
The Chinese esports organization AG.AL took first place in the 2026 Esports World Cup Club Championship and earned $7,000,000.
AG.AL claimed the championship thanks to victories in Tekken 8 and Trackmania. In addition, the club took second place in the Free Fire, Honor of Kings, and chess tournaments. Team Falcons finished the club championship in second place and earned $5,000,000. The organization won the Street Fighter 6 and Rocket League tournaments.
Team Spirit finished in sixth place and received $1,400,000. The club won tournaments in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Counter-Strike 2. Virtus.pro took seventh place and earned $1,150,000; the organization’s victory in the PUBG tournament accounted for nearly half of its total points in the standings.
Other notable results included victories by Natus Vincere in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Team Vitality in the women’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament, Team Liquid in chess, FaZe Clan in Rainbow Six Siege, and PARIVISION in Dota 2.
The 2026 Esports World Cup took place from July 2 to August 23 in Paris, France. The championship featured 25 tournaments across 24 esports disciplines, with a total prize pool of $75,000,000.
